I left a couple in the Placebo section of a (non-independant) record store a few days ago. When I went back a few days later, they've stuck one up on the wall above it, and another above the bigginning of the L section!

random - I am amazed that they still have real live record stores in your areas - sadly, so many of the wonderful indie shops that i used to haunt are closed/absorbed by the box bookstores (Borders/Barnes & Noble) or the box store electronics places

^sadly I agree with that... we have ONE independant store, and its a music cafe. The rest - hmv etc....
But will be popping in to the cafe when I next get the chance XD

We only have the one little independant record shop, too. It's the only place (other than online) that I can get vinyl, so I'm a bit of a regular. I left some flyers on the counter while I was there today And while I was at JB Hi-Fi (the big corporate store that stuck the flyers up) one of the retail staff saw the flyers in my hand and asked if I could 'please, please leave some on the counter!' ... I take it he was a fan

It had a twin shop in actual Portsmouth which would have been awesome to do but they closed down now and only the one in Gosport town exists of Reflex Records. They are having flyerrrs.
