Hi Carina! Good to see you on here, I hope you will have fun in this lovely forum. I think Meds is an excellent album and a good route into being a 'Bo fan Edit: sorry, should pay more attention - I missed the word 'before'! But anyway, welcome! S x

^^^ oh those 2 are my favourites as well... and those vids are even better. I agree, the whole album is amazing. And I don't know how Jack does that but everything he does is simply great (Even though, I'm not that big fan of White Stripes.)

the last book i read was the 4th part of the twilight saga "breaking dawn". i should read much more so if anyone knows a good book in english (or german ;D) please tell me @ stella in the mix: is it, that you do not write the whole name of THAT band here? if nobody writes the whole, i'm sorry i did. jack white is great but i'm more into the dead weather because of alison mosshart. her voice is so amazing and when i met her in vienna before the kills' concert, she was so nice my favourite gig was iamx in graz in dec. 2008. the club they played at had a capacity of 900 ppl and the crowd+band was in an amazing mood + the part of the video "think of england" was recorded at that show. also, radiohead's performance at frequency festival was amazing and i was suprised they were such a good live band. the last gig i went to was Zoot Woman. i liked that gig but that's actually it. I was disappointed because i missed the support band scarlet soho. they put me and a friend on the guestlist and when we came to the venue they had already played. we ran right into the singer and had to explain why we were late *lol* (my last gig should have been patrick wolf but i fell ill :-()

Hahaha - no, you can say the P word here - I was just being lazy!
Have you read Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials Trilogy? Way better than the film (Northern Lights).

S x no, i havent. just read a very short summary of the 3 books and sounds very interesting, thank you very much! gonna look for the books - i'll need some books for my trip across germany because being on a train for hours will be boring.
