I'm starting this thread early because I have a ticket to sell. Face value is £16. If you're interested please pm me. This will also be a place for reviews and discussions of the gig Edit: ticket now sold, so I'll lock this thread now and open it again after the gig for reviews and discussions. Thread now unlocked

Glad you liked it Pat *welcomes and exalts you for having excellent taste in music It was a shame it was a relatively short set, but it's always a pleasure to see them play. 'Home' is always a particular highlight for me, but it was a shame there was no time to play 'Bring Me Down' which is always such a special song to hear live, especially as it's not on the album. What did other people think?

Two videos now uploaded to the Heaven and Hell youtube channel Got to give it upwww.youtube.com/watch?v=JXAzmyCc-n8So sadwww.youtube.com/watch?v=1BJlo1j9NioI agree the set was woefully too short. Home was amazing as usual and it was painful not to have an encore to follow. Overall, the band played well, but I still think they played slightly better at the Garage. Looking forward to more gigs and the acoustic session in the new year. Welcome to the forum, Pat. *exalts you for 'never being too old to rock'*

Thanks for uploading the videos Jen *exalts you* Hove is such an awesome guitarist, isn't he? I liked the interaction between the two Steves And I'm glad you also managed to capture a snippet of Donneye and Teresa together *noms them both* Every time I see LAR play, Steve looks more and more comfortable as a front man, which is really good to see. And I would add that he's at his best when he's interacting with the audience. I guess the shortness of the set on Thursday meant that there wasn't much time for chat, but he's got such an engaging persona and a nice, dry sense of humour that it's always good to listen to him talking as well as singing.

Sounds good, surely the new Academy is better than the old? Anyone note down the setlist?
