hey there! I'm more usually found over at PFWW (plasticinegirl), but who says the love can't be shared around... I live in Switzerland, but I'm originally from Australia. I love living in Europe! So many bands to see in so many foreign places...I try to see as much live music as I can, I do so love the roar of the crowd. Sorry for the lacklustre introduction but well, there's not much more to tell, really. I love the smell more than the taste of morning coffee, to be honest Thanks for having me!

Hey there! Lovely to have you here. I'm Stella and I'm from the UK.
So you like coffee (or at least the smell!) - but what are your views on tea?

stella - tea is for when i'm feeling vulnerable, like first thing in the morning, and rainy afternoons. then there is nothing better than sitting down with a steaming hot cup of tea, don't you think? i think afternoon tea (with biscuits and little cakes) is highly under-rated, and needs a comeback.
zee - i met my (swiss) husband in sydney and then we moved to switzerland to see how we liked it...and we are still here 8 or so years later!
poetress - yes, i will be seeing LAR in zurich, and i also will be interviewing them (i have a music blog) *eeeek* (note to self - make new thread for question recommendations), which i am feeling pretty nervous about...

Hi Cherie
Welcome to the forum. Great to hear you have scored an interview with the band - don't be nervous, they are down to earth and really friendly people. I'll try and suggest some questions to ask in your other thread, Stella and I were talking about things we'd like to ask the band recently, but they've slipped my mind right now. Asking musicians about their taste in music is always a pretty safe bet though.
Have fun here, oh and newbie question - cats or dogs?
Jen x

Ooh, I love what you said about when tea is best - I feel exactly the same way! And I'm also a big fan of afternoon tea and cake - it's one of the few things that make me proud to be British
