Facebook spamming pays off - one of my friends has now bought a ticket for the London gig thanks to my endless stream of spam information about LAR ;D

Me and niwo managed to accidently lay around some LAR flyers at M'Era Luna gig this weekend We decided to save more for the Highfield Festival since the crowd would be more friendly for that kind of music. Keep you posted!

Well Lollapalooza has come and gone. I was able to hand out flyers, but people didn't really seem to be in the mood to take flyers booooooo to them. I also taped flyers in the porta potties :-P. I left flyers around the park grounds.
will now focus on posting flyers around my neighborhood :-D

as morgana has said already, m'era luna was not the purrfect place for pimping LAR. the people were just too m'era luna... uhm... whatever. we did however leave some flyers unattendedly as germans love to read something when they're sitting down being bored or previously rained on ;D 'accidently' leaving flyers behind looks like this btw: (the red thing being my bag, leaving with me ) oh and mid-flyer preparation as i got bored cutting at some point and this thread needs more pics anyway highfield shall be more promising audience ;D will make someone else cut the flyers this time, i'm terrible at cutting...

*exalts Niwo* They look awesome! And I know what you mean about the cutting - I cut up around 900 for Sonisphere and got very fed up towards the end! Good luck for Highfield poetress x

I went to Chelmsford today and handed out flyers to people queueing for the shuttle buses for V fest. I didn't count but I think I got rid of about 600 in half an hour!! Then I went shopping and spent far too much money in Lush poetress x

That's one every three seconds, Sam (if my maths is right - not my strong point). Nice work.

How about this for random street teaming? I was in Tesco's in Stow-on-the-Wold on Saturday and the boy on the checkout asked me about my LAR badge. I told him about Love Amongst Ruin and said "They're gonna be big", to which he replied "Oh, is it your kid's band?" I told him he was a cheeky sod ;D and he said it was just because people usually say that about their kids' bands *lol* - so anyway I gave him my badge and told him to go look them up on YT when he got home. In keeping with my random and opportunistic street teaming: on the way home from London on Sunday I got talking to the guy opposite me on the train and told him about LAR - his sister's really into Bo apparently - we swapped music tips and I entreated him to check out LAR. This is all because he asked me how come I had a glittery heart on my hand, and so I had to explain that me & Ana had them done in Hamley's toy shop! On a slightly more credible note *lol*, my local shop is generally staffed by young gothy students, and when I got home on Sunday one of them asked me why I was so knackered-looking - so of course that was an opener and we had a good chat about music - he's just got into Captain Beefheart *lol* so I told him the Ashtray Heart link and said he should check out LAR on YT. I love random success in shops and on trains - LAR shamelessness rules

.... and my gentle but persuasive teaming on my FB page seems to be having the desired effect too Eta: one FB friend (whom I know from the pfww forum) has today gone out and bought the LAR album due to my shameless promotion - and she loves it! That makes me very happy indeed.

Excellent news It's always good fun to team for LAR. And I hope people do check out the free downloads on the website that were advertised on the flyer. And Sam - you rock the mostest xxx
